Every town hall sets its own tax ordinance, so what you can claim in Nerja is decided by the ordenanza fiscal of the Ayuntamiento de Nerja for the current year. We check that ordinance before quoting and we file the paperwork for you. A good part of central Nerja is protected; where the roof is visible from the street we add the integration study that prevents objections to the permit.
Article 74.5 of the Spanish local finance act (RDL 2/2004) lets a town hall grant up to 50% off the IBI property tax for self-consumption solar, for a number of years it sets itself. It only applies if the Ayuntamiento de Nerja has included it in the ordinance in force, so we verify the current text and the filing deadline, which is usually tied to the installation date and the cadastral reference.
Article 103.2.b of the same act allows up to 95% off the ICIO construction tax for solar installations. The ICIO is paid with the declaración responsable at the Ayuntamiento de Nerja and is calculated on the actual cost of the works, so battery storage and electrical upgrades count towards the base as well.
On top of the municipal rebates there is the national income-tax deduction for energy-efficiency works, where it is in force for the tax year, and the regional INEA 2026 grant from the Junta de Andalucía: 55% to 65% for solar with a battery, applications from 22 October 2026, and no support on the residential line without storage. We tell you honestly which of these is actually available on the day you sign, instead of quoting a grant that closed.
Storage changes the maths in Nerja: it raises the ICIO base slightly but cuts the share of the production you export at a low price.

Contacté con ellos para la instalación de dos baterías Deye adicionales en mi sistema fotovoltaico y el servicio ha sido rápido, eficiente y muy profesional. Además de dejar las nuevas baterías perfectamente instaladas y funcionando, dedicó bastante tiempo a explicarme diferentes aspectos de mi instalación y resolvió muchas dudas que tenía.
