We install our charging points in both commercial and private properties. If you park your car outside your property, it is possible that the charging cable may cross municipal land. It is up to you to negotiate and obtain approval from the municipality. Mi Techo Solar never installs charging points on public land.
The Mi Techo Solar charging point can be connected to both single-phase (maximum 3.6 KW) and three-phase (maximum 11 KW) electrical panels. Connection capacity is usually not an issue, although three-phase charging is often preferred. Safety is paramount when connecting to the electrical panel. Work must be carried out safely and there must be sufficient space in the electrical panel. Our technical trainer will evaluate this.
Depending on the type of car and battery capacity, charging time may vary. On average, it takes between 4 and 8 hours for a full charge with a domestic charging point. The exact time may vary depending on the specifications of your vehicle and the charging point.
Yes, it is safe to charge your car outdoors during adverse weather conditions such as rain or snow. The charging points are designed to be water and weather resistant, complying with the necessary safety regulations to ensure safe operation in all weather conditions.
In the event of a power failure, charging will stop automatically. Once the power supply is restored, the charging point will resume the charging session. Our charging points are equipped with security mechanisms to ensure that both your car and the charging point remain protected during such situations.
