Home in Alhaurín el Grande: 8.1 kWp with a 16 kWh battery and full back-up
At a home in Alhaurín el Grande we installed 15 AIKO 540 Wp panels on a ground-mounted structure, with a 10 kW single-phase Deye LV inverter and a 16 kWh MTS battery. The system is configured with whole-home back-up and automatic changeover through an ATS.

How we built it
The 15 AIKO 540 Wp panels were not mounted on the roof but on the plot itself: the property has open space and a clear orientation, so the structure rests on precast concrete blocks and is held in place by weight, without touching the roof or its waterproofing.
The system is run by a 10 kW single-phase Deye LV inverter coupled to a 16 kWh MTS battery. The low-voltage/10 kW combination leaves headroom for the home's consumption peaks and for charging the battery with midday surplus.
The installation is set up as a full back-up: in a grid outage an ATS automatically switches the home over to the inverter and battery, with no manual intervention. This is the usual configuration in inland Málaga, where supply cuts are not unusual.
We do not publish annual production, savings or payback for this installation: we only share figures when they come from monitoring data or the customer's real bills. The technical data on this page is that of the project as built.
