PowerHub ONE 10, 9.6 kWh plug-in home battery

9.6 kWh is the range where a high-consumption home can run through the night with almost no grid draw: climate control, pool, kitchen and, with room to spare, a partial EV charge while the rest of the house is quiet.

At this level we always compare the plug-in option against a classic hybrid system (Deye, Solplanet, Pylontech or Enphase). A hybrid handles more power and integrates with the PV installation; PowerHub ONE avoids the building work, the inverter swap and a new legalisation file. We give you both figures and you decide.

With four modules a dedicated circuit of up to 2.4 kW peak stops being optional in practice, it is what lets you use the capacity during punta hours instead of being capped at the shared socket's 800 W.

Best suited for

  • Large home with climate control and a pool
  • Households with an EV charging overnight
  • Self-consumption with a 5 kWp or larger solar array
  • A no-building-work alternative to a 10 kWh hybrid

Frequently asked questions

Is 9.6 kWh comparable to a 10 kWh hybrid system?

In storage capacity, yes. In power, no: a hybrid inverter supplies several kW continuously to the whole home, while PowerHub ONE delivers up to 2.4 kW peak on a dedicated circuit. We choose based on your power curve, not on kWh alone.

Can I charge an EV from this battery?

Partially. A slow 2.4 kW charge fits within the dedicated-circuit output, but it would use almost the full capacity. For vehicle charging we recommend combining it with a managed charge point.

What warranty applies to this configuration?

The same as the whole range: a 10-year product warranty and a performance warranty of 6,000 cycles or at least 70% remaining usable capacity. Mi Techo Solar handles the claim locally in Spain.
