PowerHub ONE 12, 12.0 kWh plug-in home battery

12 kWh is the ceiling of the system and the choice for high-consumption homes: several air-conditioning units, a heated pool, an electric kitchen and year-round occupancy rather than seasonal use.

At this capacity it pays to be honest about the numbers: the limit is no longer stored energy but output power, up to 2.4 kW peak on a dedicated circuit. If your home needs to draw 4 or 5 kW simultaneously, a hybrid inverter system (Deye, Solplanet, Pylontech or Enphase) is the correct solution, and we install those too.

PowerHub ONE 12 makes sense when you want maximum overnight autonomy without building work or a new legalisation file, or when you prefer to start with storage and add solar generation later.

Best suited for

  • High-consumption home used year-round
  • Several climate-control units
  • Maximum overnight autonomy without building work
  • A storage base before expanding the solar array

Frequently asked questions

When does a hybrid make more sense than a PowerHub ONE 12?

When you need to draw more than 2.4 kW continuously or to back up the whole home. In that case we install Deye, Solplanet, Pylontech or Enphase with a hybrid inverter and the matching legalisation file.

How much space does a five-module stack take?

Each module is 440 × 305 × 220 mm and the Main Unit 440 × 305 × 165 mm, stacked vertically. IP65 protection allows sheltered outdoor positions within the -20 °C to 55 °C operating range.

Can I start smaller and grow to 12 kWh?

Yes, and it is usually the most efficient path: start at 4.8 or 7.2 kWh, measure real behaviour for a few months and add modules afterwards without replacing anything.
