PowerHub ONE 2.5, 2.4 kWh plug-in home battery

2.4 kWh covers a home's base load through the evening: fridge, router, lighting, TV and standby. It is the logical option if you want to start shifting consumption from expensive punta hours to cheap valle hours without a large investment and without touching the switchboard.

The Main Unit plugs into a standard 230 V socket and delivers up to 800 W on a shared socket. If you want more power later, an electrician can give it a dedicated circuit of up to 2.4 kW peak. Modules stack: going from 2.4 to 4.8 kWh means adding a module, not replacing the system.

In apartments and rented homes across Málaga and the Costa del Sol this is the most practical configuration, no building work, no roof of your own and no community approval needed for the standard plug-in setup.

Best suited for

  • Apartments without solar panels
  • Tenants: the unit moves with you
  • Second homes with low consumption
  • A first step before expanding to 4.8 or 7.2 kWh

Frequently asked questions

How long does a 2.4 kWh battery last?

It depends on the load. At a steady 300 W (fridge, router, LED lighting and TV) 2.4 kWh runs roughly 7–8 hours. With a 1 kW air conditioner running it drops to around 2 hours, and on a shared socket the output is limited to 800 W.

Can I expand the PowerHub ONE 2.5 later?

Yes. The Main Unit takes one to five 2.4 kWh modules, up to 12 kWh. Modules stack on top without replacing the main unit or reworking the installation.

Do I need solar panels for this configuration?

No. It charges from the grid during cheap valle hours and discharges during expensive punta hours. With solar it also stores your surplus instead of exporting it at a low rate.
