How to choose a solar installation company in Spain

On the Costa del Sol many companies that sell solar panels do not install them: they subcontract the roof work and disappear once the invoice is paid. Before you sign, ask for the CIF number and registered address, confirm that legalisation with the Junta de Andalucia is included, ask which team will be on your roof, and require a written warranty on both equipment and workmanship.

Mi Techo Solar is a registered company in Malaga (CIF B44974491) with its own installation teams and more than 300 completed installations. We install Deye, Solplanet, Enphase, Pylontech and our own MTS/LVTOPSUN batteries, and we handle the paperwork and aftercare in English.

## Where we work across Málaga province We work with our own crew from Coín, so the same schedule covers solar panel installations in Marbella, Estepona, Málaga city and Torremolinos, self-consumption in Vélez-Málaga and solar energy across the Axarquía, plus inland towns: Cártama, Coín, Alhaurín de la Torre and Alhaurín el Grande. On the coast we size for air conditioning and the pool; inland we always add outage backup with a [Deye hybrid inverter](/inversor-deye) or, on shaded roofs, [Huawei with optimisers](/inversores-huawei). ## Choosing an installer in Málaga and Marbella Ask three things of any Costa del Sol installer: do they employ their own technicians, do they handle the RD 244/2019 legalisation and the municipal IBI application themselves, and can they be on your roof within a week in August. Our team works from Coín and covers [Málaga](/solar-malaga), [Marbella](/solar-marbella), [Estepona](/solar-estepona) and the whole Axarquía. Over 700 installations, 4.8/5 on Google and a 25-year panel warranty. [Compare our quote](/contact) with what you have on the table.
