Output and paperwork in the Antequera vega: PVGIS data and town hall steps

Antequera and Archidona enjoy some of the best solar conditions in inland Málaga: clear skies, no salt-laden sea breeze and industrial roofs with plenty of space. Here is what it costs, what it produces and how it is legalised.

Real output in the area

PVGIS data puts a well-oriented system in the Antequera plain at around 1,730 kWh per kWp per year. A 5 kWp home system produces roughly 8,650 kWh a year, enough to cover most of a household with a heat pump.

Local tax reductions

Town halls in the area can reduce IBI by up to 50% and ICIO by up to 95%. You apply with the project and the installation certificate.

Legalisation

Self-consumption with surplus is legalised under RD 244/2019: technical report or project, electrical certificate, registration with the Junta de Andalucía and surplus compensation with your supplier. We include all of it in a fixed written quote.
