Solar panel installation step by step in Andalusia: from study to legalisation

2 September 2026 3 min read

Solar panel installation in Andalusia follows a well-defined process. This guide covers every phase, from the initial study to legalisation with the Junta de Andalucía.

1. Free study and design

We measure your annual consumption and analyse the roof. In Málaga we use 1,750 kWh per kWp. Request a free solar study.

2. Brand selection and quote

We work with Deye, Solplanet, Enphase and Pylontech. Reference price: €500 per installed panel (540 or 610 Wp) from 10 panels.

3. Physical installation

One or two days: structure, panels, cabling, inverter, commissioning and warranty registration.

4. Legalisation

We file the Electrical Installation Certificate (CIE), technical report, self-consumption registration and Junta de Andalucía entry. Timeline: 15 to 30 days. Read more in our legalisation guide.

5. Commissioning and monitoring

The inverter connects to the manufacturer app. With Mi Techo Solar Care we monitor remotely.

FAQ

How long? 4 to 6 weeks total. Physical install: 1 to 2 days.

Council permit? Under 10 kW, usually only a prior notification.

Surplus? Simplified compensation with your retailer.

Where we work across Málaga province

We work with our own crew from Coín, so the same schedule covers solar panel installations in Marbella, Estepona, Málaga city and Torremolinos, self-consumption in Vélez-Málaga and solar energy across the Axarquía, plus inland towns: Cártama, Coín, Alhaurín de la Torre and Alhaurín el Grande. On the coast we size for air conditioning and the pool; inland we always add outage backup with a Deye hybrid inverter or, on shaded roofs, Huawei with optimisers.
