Palms, trees and several roof levels cast moving shade over this installation all day long. Shade on just one panel can drag down a whole string, so after deep-cleaning all 24 panels we added extra optimisers to the shaded modules. Each panel now works independently at its own maximum, so the system makes the most of every hour of sun.
What we did exactly
- 24 solar panels deep-cleaned
- Extra optimisers fitted on the shaded panels
- Shade loss from palms and roof levels minimised
- System optimised and checked, yields monitored per panel
Price of this job
245 € + 95 € — Cleaning of 24 panels 245 €, each extra optimiser fitted 95 €, excl. VAT

Why maintenance matters on the Costa del Sol
Dust, pollen, sea salt and above all calima sand form a thin film on the glass that can cut production by 10–25%. A professional clean with pure water, no pressure and no detergents brings that production back and extends the life of the modules. In the same visit we also check the mounting, cabling, inverter and monitoring.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a solar panel cleaning like this cost?
This particular job cost 245 € + 95 € (Cleaning of 24 panels 245 €, each extra optimiser fitted 95 €, excl. VAT). Our cleanings start from €150 excl. VAT; the final price depends on the number of panels, the height and roof access.
How often should solar panels be cleaned?
On the Costa del Sol we recommend a professional clean once or twice a year, and always after a heavy calima episode.
Can panels be cleaned with a pressure washer?
No. High pressure can damage the seals and the module frame. We use pure demineralised water and a soft brush.
Do you also service systems installed by another company?
Yes. We maintain and repair systems from any installer and any inverter brand.
