Legalising solar panels in Andalusia: documents, timelines and cost

Without legalisation a self-consumption system cannot claim surplus compensation and may cause problems with insurance or when selling the property. The file includes the electrical certificate, a technical report with single line diagram, the municipal declaration, the Andalusian self-consumption registration and the surplus agreement with your energy retailer.

In the province of Malaga the process takes three to eight weeks. The system produces from day one; only the surplus credit arrives later, compensated at 0.05 to 0.10 EUR per kWh against the 0.20 EUR/kWh you pay for imported power.

With our installations the paperwork is included in the reference price of about 500 EUR per panel. We also legalise systems built by other companies after an inspection.

Where we work across Málaga province

We work with our own crew from Coín, so the same schedule covers solar panel installations in Marbella, Estepona, Málaga city and Torremolinos, self-consumption in Vélez-Málaga and solar energy across the Axarquía, plus inland towns: Cártama, Coín, Alhaurín de la Torre and Alhaurín el Grande.
