A proper self-consumption kit is a complete system, not a box of panels. In the province of Malaga we install kits with 540 or 610 Wp panels, aluminium mounting rated for coastal wind, a Deye or Solplanet hybrid inverter, protections, monitoring and full legalisation, at a reference price of around 500 EUR per installed panel from ten panels upwards.
At an average yield of 1,750 kWh per kWp per year, a ten panel kit (6.1 kWp) produces about 10,600 kWh and saves 1,400 to 1,800 EUR per year at 0.20 EUR/kWh. A twenty panel kit costs around 10,000 EUR and produces roughly 21,300 kWh.
A hybrid inverter costs slightly more than a grid inverter but lets you add batteries later without swapping hardware or repeating the paperwork. A 5 kWh battery costs 3,000 to 4,000 EUR installed.

What the budget looks like in each area
The prices here are the ones we apply in Málaga city, Marbella, Estepona, Vélez-Málaga and the Axarquía, and inland too: Cártama, Coín, Alhaurín de la Torre and Alhaurín el Grande. The gap between quotes is rarely the panel brand but the inverter and battery: a Deye hybrid with 10 kWh lands €1,500–€2,500 below the equivalent Huawei LUNA2000. You get both figures in the free solar study, along with your roof's real production.
