Solar installation in Nagüeles, Marbella, at the foot of La Concha

We have completed a new solar installation in Nagüeles, the residential neighbourhood of Marbella on the slopes of Sierra Blanca, at the foot of La Concha. A project that shows exactly how we work on the rooftops and villas of the area.

The project

The property has a large flat rooftop partly occupied by outdoor air-conditioning units. We designed the array around that equipment to avoid midday shading and to keep maintenance walkways free. The complete structure sits on concrete ballast blocks: not a single hole drilled in the waterproofing. The panels are mounted at a 10º tilt facing south, with La Concha at its back, the best balance between annual yield and wind resistance on the coast.
