Choosing an installer in Spain is harder than choosing panels. Many companies are sales offices that subcontract the roof work and disappear once the invoice is paid. Mi Techo Solar is a registered Spanish company with ten people, our own installation teams and more than 300 completed installations across the province of Malaga. We handle the survey, the installation, the legalisation and the aftercare ourselves, in English, Dutch or Spanish.
Before you sign, ask for four things. A serious installer produces them in a day; a sales office does not.
We work with a short, deliberate list of brands so our engineers know every system inside out and spare parts are always available: Deye and Solplanet inverters, Enphase microinverters, Pylontech and our own MTS/LVTOPSUN batteries. We also install EV chargers and air conditioning on the same system so everything runs through one app.
The process is fixed and you always know where you stand. Free site survey and yield calculation, written fixed-price quote, installation in one to three days depending on system size, then commissioning, monitoring setup and legalisation. Most projects run from first visit to legalised system in three to six weeks.
Our maintenance arm, Mi Techo Solar Care, keeps systems working long after the installation invoice. Annual inspection, professional cleaning, remote monitoring and guaranteed response times. We also take over systems installed by companies that no longer trade, which is a large part of our repair work on the Costa del Sol.
